Cast and Crew List

There are 3 parts that involve Cast and Crew

1. Filming me speaking to camera

There will be one camera for this, 2 lights and a boom mic connected to a recorder. The camera will be recording audio too to help me sync up the visuals with the audio.

Cast - I will be on screen speaking to camera.

Boom mic operator – my Dad will be boom mic operator.

Clapperboard operator - I will clap my hands loudly instead of a clapperboard (which I don’t have) to allow me to sync up the sound with the visuals in editing.

Lighting operator - I will set up the lights with my Mum standing in for me in shot.

Camera operator – my Mum will operate the camera.

Cinematographer/Director – I will set up the camera and slider in position and direct my Mum how I want her to move the camera and when to start filming.

2. Filming me filming a sequence of shots Stationary, then Handheld, then with my Slider

There will be 2 cameras and no lights for this. There will be no audio being recorded to use, however both cameras will be recording audio to help me sync up both sets of footage.

Cast – My Mum will be on screen being filmed by camera 1.

Cast – I will be on screen filming my Mum and being filmed by camera 2.

Boom mic operator – no boom mic operator is required.

Clapperboard operator - I will clap my hands loudly instead of a clapperboard (which I don’t have) to allow me to sync up the sound from both cameras in editing so that the visuals are synced up.

Lighting operator – there are no lights for this (see Lighting section)

Camera 1 operator – I will operate camera 1 and the slider (filming my Mum)

Camera 2 operator – my Dad will operate camera 2 (filming me). He will need to check that I am in shot the whole time.

Cinematographer/Director – I will set up the cameras and slider in position and film my Mum how I have already planned, and I'll direct my Dad how I want him to film when to start filming. I will direct my Mum where to stand.

3. Recording my voice-over

There will be no cameras for this, so no lighting. There will only be a recorder.

Cast – I will be saying my voice-over lines to the recorder.

Crew – none needed because I can operate the recorder myself.
